Dallas, USA – Spain secured their place in the 2026 World Cup final after defeating France 2-0 in their semi-final match on Tuesday evening.
The match was held at AT&T Stadium in Arlington County, Dallas, USA, and the Spanish team dominated the proceedings from the beginning.
Mikel Oyarzabal opened the scoring for Spain in the 22nd minute from a penalty kick, before Pedro Porro doubled the lead in the 58th minute, taking advantage of a pass from Dani Olmo to go one-on-one with the goalkeeper and put the ball into the net.

France intensified their efforts to get back into the game, and Kylian Mbappe came close to narrowing the gap in the 67th minute, after he shot a ball from outside the penalty area that hit Cucurella and went out for a corner kick.
With this victory, the Spanish national team qualified for the 2026 World Cup final, where they await the winner of the match between Argentina and England.
