Paris, France – Frenchman Benoit Cosnevroy, rider of the Emirates-XRG team, won the Grand Prix de Morbihan title in France. After a strong performance and perfect timing, Sprint gave the team its 28th win of the current season.
The race, which was held on Sunday and extended for 190 km around Blumlec, France, witnessed an offensive pace from the start through Brittany’s winding terrain. With repeated attacks the main group gradually shrank. Before the competition flared up in the final laps for the famous Côte d’Ivoire de Cadoudal promotion.
This is Cosnefroy’s first win for the Emirates Cycling Team. After his outstanding results in the De Brabantze Pile and Amstel Gold races this season.
