Manchester, England – Liverpool manager Arne Slott has launched a scathing attack on the refereeing team following his side’s 3-2 defeat to Manchester United in the 35th round of the English Premier League.
Following the match, Slot spoke about the controversial goal, asserting that he believed Benjamin Sissoko had handled the ball. He stated that the ball clearly changed direction, indicating contact.
The Dutch coach added that VAR decisions had not gone his team’s way this season. He also pointed out that such incidents had occurred repeatedly, which had frustrated him.
In terms of the standings, Manchester United moved up to third place with 64 points, while Liverpool remained in fourth with 58 points. This intensifies the battle for Champions League qualification.
