Nyon, Switzerland – The draw for the round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League has resulted in a heavyweight clash between Real Madrid and Manchester City, in a repeat of a European showdown seen in recent editions of the tournament.
The draw ceremony took place today, Friday, in Nyon, Switzerland, at the headquarters of UEFA, in the presence of representatives of the qualified clubs.
The draw also pitted Liverpool against Galatasaray in a repeat of their group stage encounter, where the Turkish side won 1-0.
