Abu Dhabi, UAE – Shabab Al Ahli achieved a resounding victory over their host Al Jazira with a score of 3-0, in the match that brought them together on Saturday evening, in the UAE League.
Shabab Al Ahli visited Al Jazira at Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium, in the final match of the 11th round of the ADNOC Pro League.
Shabab Al Ahli’s three goals were scored by Sultan Adel in the 36th minute, Yuri Cesar in the 48th minute, and Bruno Cascardo in the 78th minute, raising Shabab Al Ahli’s points tally to 20, which moved them up to fourth place, with two postponed matches remaining. Al Jazira’s points tally stopped at 18, placing them fifth.

Shabab Al Ahli started the offensive initiative with a dangerous header chance, followed by a shot from Yuri Cesar. Both balls went past the goal. After these attempts, Sultan Adel succeeded in scoring the opening goal for the Knights in the 36th minute, after a remarkable follow-up to the rebound from Al Jazira goalkeeper Ali Khaseif, to score his second goal against Al Jazira in the ADNOC League after his goal with Kalba in March 2022.
Al Jazira almost equalized at the start of the second half, but the chance to equalize was lost, and Shabab Al Ahli surprised their hosts with a second goal in the 48th minute, scored by Yuri Cesar. The goal put more pressure on the home team, who were now required to come back quickly before the summit entered difficult times.
The visitors strengthened their lead with a third goal in the 78th minute with a technically brilliant one-two that started with Yahya Al-Ghasani and was put into the net by Bruno Cascardo, so the summit ended in the end with the victory of the Knights.
