Doha, Qatar – Egypt’s second team bid farewell to the Arab Cup tournament after losing to Jordan 3-0 in the match that brought them together on Tuesday evening, as part of the third and final round of competitions.
Egypt and Jordan met at Al Bayt Stadium in Qatar, in the final round of the Arab Cup.
Jordan took the lead with the first goal in the 19th minute, through Mohammed Abu Hashish, after a shot from inside the penalty area that found the back of the net.
Meanwhile, Mohammad Zureik added Jordan’s second goal in the 41st minute, after a rocket shot that found the back of the net.
Ali Alwan completed the hat-trick for Al-Nashami in the 90+2 minute, from a penalty kick which he successfully executed.
