Doha, Qatar – The Palestinian and Syrian national teams qualified for the quarter-finals of the Arab Cup after a goalless draw in the match that brought them together today, Sunday, as part of the third and final round of competitions.

The Syrian national team met Palestine at Education City Stadium in Qatar, at 7 pm Cairo time.

The match was characterized by clear caution from both sides, despite a relative advantage for the Palestinian team at times in terms of pressure and creating attacking attempts.

Meanwhile, the Syrian team relied on defensive discipline and quick counter-attacks.

The match continued with an exchange of attacking attempts without either side succeeding in scoring, ending in a goalless draw.

Thus, each team earns one point, with the Palestinian team raising its tally to 5 points at the top of the group, ahead of Syria, which has the same tally, on goal difference.

Meanwhile, the Tunisian national team comes in third place with 4 points, after defeating Qatar with a score of (3-0).

The Qatari national team is in last place with only one point.
