Cairo, Egypt – Al Nasr achieved a valuable victory over Al Dhafra with two goals to nil, in the match that brought the two teams together today, Friday, in the UAE Pro League 2025-26 competition.
Al Nasr met Al Dhafra at Al Maktoum Stadium, as part of the eighth round of the ADNOC Pro League competition.
Al-Nasr opened the scoring early in the fourth minute, after a brilliant pass from Mehdi Qaidi, which Jonatas Santos met with a shot that found the back of the net.
Not long after the first victory goal, Luka Milivojevic doubled the score in the 12th minute from a penalty kick awarded to his team.
In the 44th minute, Al Dhafra player Mohsen Al Rabja received a red card after a strong tackle with his foot on the face of an Al Nasr player.
In the 52nd minute, Zayed Al-Zaabi scored a third goal for Al-Nasr team, but it was cancelled due to offside.

The match remained a back-and-forth affair between the two teams, with Al Dhafra attempting to reduce the gap, but to no avail, and the match ended with Al Nasr winning 2-0.

In the same round, the match between Dibba and Al Wahda ended in a 1-1 draw, which took place at the latter’s stadium.
The match started strongly from both sides, with Nigerian Benedict firing a dangerous shot in the 13th minute, after a complete breakaway towards the goal, which almost found the back of the net.
In the 39th minute, Dibba player Reda Ghandi missed a clear goal-scoring opportunity from in front of the goal.
Al Wahda managed to take the lead in the 74th minute, after a shot from Omar Kharbin hit a Dibba defender and went into the net.
Diba responded by equalizing in the dying moments, specifically in the 90+8 minute, through Mimi from a penalty kick that he successfully executed.
