Cairo, Egypt – Shabab Al-Ahli Dubai team achieved victory over their guest Al-Nasr, by two goals to one, in the match that brought them together today as part of the UAE Professional League Cup.
Shabab Al Ahli Dubai met Al Nasr at Rashid Stadium in the first leg of the quarter-finals of the Abu Dhabi Bank Cup.
Al Ahli youth team started the match strongly, opening the scoring early in the 12th minute, through Matheus Dias Lima, after he went one-on-one with the goalkeeper, dribbled past the Al Nasr goalkeeper and shot a ball into the net.
Al-Nasr responded quickly with an equalizer in the 15th minute, through Abdullah Toure, after he broke through on goal and then shot a ball that found the back of the net.
Lima returned in the 24th minute to score his second goal and the second goal for his team, Shabab Al-Ahli, after a cross from the left side which he met with a short shot from in front of the goal that settled in the net.
Al-Nasr players then tried to equalize, but to no avail, and the match ended with Al-Fursan winning by two goals to one.
