Abu Dhabi, UAE – Shabab Al Ahli secured a resounding 4-0 victory over hosts Dibba in their match today at Dibba Stadium, as part of the 20th round of the ADNOC Pro League.

Al Ahli’s goals all came in the second half, strengthening their lead at the top of the table and raising their points tally to 49. Meanwhile, Dibba remain at the bottom with 14 points.

The first half ended in a goalless draw, despite Al Ahli’s slight advantage as they threatened the home side’s goal on several occasions. The most notable chance came in the seventh minute when Sardar Azmoun’s header was disallowed for offside, followed by a free kick from Cartabia in the 28th minute.

At the start of the second half, substitute João Marcelo scored the opening goal for Shabab Al Ahli in the 55th minute, following up a shot that rebounded off the crossbar and slotting it into the net. This made them the second-highest scoring team in the league by substitutes this season with seven goals, behind Kalba, whose substitutes have scored eight.

Al Ahli continued their dominance in the final minutes, with Bala adding the second goal in the 80th minute, before Kon Santos sealed the victory with the third goal in the 87th minute.

Meanwhile, Matheus Henrique completed the “Knights'” four-goal haul with a fourth goal before the final whistle, ending the match with a resounding victory for Shabab Al Ahli.
