Paris, France – Paris Saint-Germain has decided on the participation of French star Ousmane Dembélé in tonight’s French league match against Strasbourg.
French reports confirmed that the technical staff led by Luis Enrique preferred to wait before involving Dembélé.
He is still recovering from a recent muscle injury to his hamstring.
The club explained that the player had undergone an intensive rehabilitation program over the past few days.
He took part in part of the group training session, but the final decision on his inclusion in the starting lineup will be made a few hours before the match, based on his physical condition.
Sources indicated that Enrique does not want to risk playing the player before he is fully fit.
Especially given the team’s busy schedule in the coming weeks at both the domestic and European levels.
Paris Saint-Germain fans are hoping for Dembélé’s quick return to bolster the attack.
Enrique relies on him to form a powerful strike force alongside Mbappé and Gonzalo Ramos.
