Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates – The Emirates Jiu-Jitsu Federation announced the start of the sixth round of the Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Jiu-Jitsu Championship for the “suit” category competitions.
This will take place from September 12 to 14 at Zayed Sports Complex in Fujairah.
With the wide participation of elite male and female players from clubs and academies across the country.
The federation said in a statement issued on Tuesday that the round will witness various competitions including youth, adults and teachers on the first day, while on the second day, junior fights under 14 and 16 years old will be held.
The tournament concludes on the third day with competitions for the junior and under-12 categories.
This is within an enthusiastic atmosphere as the tournament enters its final stages.
The intensity of confrontations between clubs and players seeking to consolidate their positions in the general standings is increasing.
In addition to getting closer to the championship title, whose total prizes are estimated at 3 million dirhams.
The last rounds witnessed strong competition for the top spot in the overall standings.
Bani Yas Jiu-Jitsu Club won first place in the fourth round of the “suit” category competitions.
Al Jazira Jiu-Jitsu Club came in second place, while Al Ain Jiu-Jitsu Club came in third.
While Sharjah Self-Defense Sports Club topped the winners in the fifth round of the “Without Suit” category.
The MOD Academy came in second place, while Al Ain Jiu-Jitsu Club maintained its position in third place.
