Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates – Three male and female riders from the UAE are participating in the show jumping competitions. They are competing in the team and individual categories at the Asian Youth Games “Bahrain 2025”.
It is scheduled to be held from October 22 to 31, showcasing talent from across the UAE region.
Mohammed Ibrahim Al Nakhi, Director of the Show Jumping Committee at the Emirates Equestrian and Racing Federation, emphasized the pride of representing the UAE internationally. He said that the selection of participating riders was made according to specific criteria.
He added, “Among these criteria are titles and points achieved in local tournaments, in addition to efficiency associated with achievements”.
He pointed out the importance of preparation programmes through European camps for riders of the UAE.
In addition, some of the juniors on the list participated in show jumping events. They took part at the Boudheeb Equestrian Academy and the Sharjah Equestrian and Racing Club. These are both prominent institutions in the UAE.
He stressed that the Asian Games represent an important turning point. These games refine the experiences of male and female knights from the UAE.
