Manama, Bahrain – The UAE national basketball team defeated its Egyptian counterpart with a score of 86-82 today, at the conclusion of its competitions in the 26th edition of the Arab Men’s National Team Championship, held in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
This is the first victory for the UAE national team in the history of its confrontations with its Egyptian counterpart.
The UAE national team raised its score at the end of the tournament to 9 points from three victories over Kuwait, Bahrain and Egypt, and 3 losses from Algeria, Tunisia and Qatar, awaiting the results of the teams in the final round to determine its final position.
