London, UK – The UK has recorded its highest ever rate of granting permanent residency to immigrants in 16 years. A total of approximately 200,000 immigrants were granted this right between June 2025 and June 2026. This reflects significant shifts in the demographic landscape and the labor market.

According to official statistics from the UK Home Office, these figures represent a significant increase of 24 percent compared to the same period last year.
