New York, USA – OpenAI, the developer of artificial intelligence technologies, most notably ChatGPT, announced a massive $38 billion deal with Amazon.

Highlights
  • High-performance cloud computing
  • Develop new models

This is to obtain cloud computing services, in a move that reflects the company’s rapid expansion in the technical infrastructure to support its products.

This agreement comes after a series of strategic understandings that OpenAI recently concluded with Nvidia and Oracle,

As part of its plan to secure massive computing resources to meet the growing demand for generative artificial intelligence services.

High-performance cloud computing

According to Reuters, the deal with Amazon aims to enhance OpenAI’s operational capabilities.

Expanding access to high-performance cloud computing,

Especially in light of the accelerating competition with companies like Google DeepMind and Anthropic.

Develop new models

Technology experts believe that these multiple partnerships represent a shift in OpenAI’s strategy.

Towards diversifying its technology sources and reducing its reliance on Microsoft,

Which is the company’s largest investor and its main partner in cloud infrastructure to date.

The deal is expected to contribute to improving the efficiency of artificial intelligence systems and developing new, more advanced models.

Especially with the increasing competition in the global artificial intelligence market, which is valued at hundreds of billions of dollars.
