Tehran, Iran – In a significant escalation of Iranian rhetoric, Mojtaba Khamenei, son of the late Iranian Supreme Leader, issued strongly worded statements directly threatening the United States and vowing unprecedented military retaliation for his father’s assassination.
Khamenei asserted that Tehran is no longer content with mere “theoretical threats” but has moved to the stage of field preparations, emphasizing that his country possesses comprehensive lists of American targets and suspects, spanning “from the top to the bottom.”
“Revenge Lists”
In his remarks, Khamenei indicated that the process of identifying and scheduling targets had been finalized and that their execution was now only a matter of time. He vowed to pursue those he called “his father’s killers” wherever they may be, asserting that “Iran’s enemies will take their wish to die peacefully in their beds with them to the grave.” He emphasized that no geographical boundaries or strategic obstacles could prevent the “revenge operations” from reaching their targets, indicating that the response would not be limited to any specific geographical area.
The end of “hegemony”
In his assessment of the regional landscape, Khamenei asserted that the era of American hegemony in the Middle East had reached its “effective end.” He vowed to transform the region into what he termed “hell for American forces,” warning Washington against continuing its current policies, which he described as reckless. He also called on the American administration to prepare for what he termed an “earthquake” that would undermine American military bases in the region and make it pay a heavy price for its interventions against Iran.
Washington collapse
Khamenei criticized American strategic capabilities, asserting that recent wars have proven the United States is on the “brink of total collapse.”
He emphasized that what he termed “the blood of the martyrs of the resistance” will be the decisive factor in dismantling the American military presence in the region, stressing that Iran’s missiles and its streets are in a state of maximum readiness to deliver devastating strikes “at the heart of the enemy.”
Khamenei concluded his remarks by asserting that the path of deterrence and retaliation has transformed from a personal desire for revenge into an “absolute national demand” embraced by the Iranian public as a sacred duty. He emphasized Tehran’s commitment to the approach of “jihad and resistance” as the only way to achieve what he termed “final victory,” declaring that this responsibility has become a general strategic approach from which there will be no retreat, regardless of the challenges or international pressures the country may face in the coming period.
