Paris, France – French President Emmanuel Macron affirmed today that his country is not a party to any attack on Iran, emphasizing France’s commitment to ensuring the safety of maritime navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world’s most vital waterways.

During a press conference, Macron explained that Paris is working intensively with international partners to guarantee the free passage of commercial vessels. He also stressed the importance of protecting oil shipments and global trade from any threats related to regional escalation.

He added that France urges all parties to exercise restraint and refrain from any actions that could lead to a military escalation in the region. He also emphasized that diplomacy and negotiations remain the most important means of resolving conflicts.

The French president stressed that his country is closely monitoring any military activity or missile launches in the region. Therefore, he explained, France is prepared to cooperate with its allies to ensure maritime security and protect the global economy from any potential negative impact.
