Dubai, UAE – The UAE search and rescue team continues its field missions in Nepal. As part of the UAE’s humanitarian efforts to support the Nepalese authorities in search and rescue operations due to the floods and torrents that the country witnessed.
The team, in coordination with the Nepalese authorities, contributed to finding 6 missing persons in the Tricholi area, as part of ongoing field searches in the affected areas. Which reflects the professionalism and readiness of the team in complex field operations under the difficult natural conditions of the region’s terrain. The team’s efficiency in the field tasks it carries out on a daily basis in the affected areas has also been proven.
The team continues its operations in the Rasua and Tricholi regions, using advanced devices and technologies, in addition to drones, in surveying, aerial photography, and preparing 3D maps. To enhance the efficiency of search operations and access to targeted sites.
Hamoud Al Afari, Director of UAE Relief Operations, said that the team is continuing its tasks in coordination with the Nepalese authorities. Harnessing his capabilities and expertise to support search and rescue efforts and reach missing persons.
These efforts come as part of the UAE’s humanitarian response in Nepal. Which includes search and rescue operations and providing relief aid to those affected.
