Washington, DC – 116 technology companies and organizations have warned of a rise in AI-powered cyberattacks. They called for strengthening digital defenses to counter threats that could become faster and more sophisticated.
Vulnerability detection, systems analysis, and automation
The alliance includes major companies such as Microsoft, OpenAI, Anthropic, Alphabet, and Amazon, along with cybersecurity firms.
The companies emphasized that artificial intelligence can help attackers discover vulnerabilities,
analyze systems, and automate parts of the hacking process.
This increases the risk to businesses and critical infrastructure.
Early detection of attacks and threat analysis
Conversely, the same technology can be used to detect attacks early, analyze threats,
and strengthen security systems.
The companies called for greater cooperation between governments and the technology sector.
They also urged increased investment in cybersecurity in anticipation of a new wave of attacks
that could make artificial intelligence one of the most prominent battlegrounds in the digital world in the coming years.
