Abu Dhabi, UAE — The United Arab Emirates strongly condemned a bombing at an educational center in Kabul today. Consequently, officials reaffirmed their firm rejection of all forms of terrorism. Furthermore, the explosion injured dozens of civilians, including many children.

 

Foreign Ministry Statement and Protection of Civilians

The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued an official statement denouncing the attack. Consequently, the government stressed the urgent need to protect educational facilities. Furthermore, officials emphasized that criminal acts violate fundamental human values. However, the ministry also expressed full solidarity with the Afghan people.

Explosion Details and United Nations Response

The blast occurred in the Dasht-e-Barchi district of western Kabul. Consequently, the United Nations confirmed that at least 42 children suffered injuries. Furthermore, UN representatives called for an immediate investigation into the event.

Finally, the UAE reiterated its commitment to supporting civilian safety in Afghanistan. Ultimately, international organizations demand secure environments for all schools and students.
