Emergency teams begin assessing the damage.

Authorities reported that emergency teams have begun inspecting affected areas—focusing on critical infrastructure, buildings, and roads—to ensure there is no widespread damage or additional hazards resulting from the tremor.

A state of panic among the residents.

The intensity of the earthquake sparked panic among residents, many of whom rushed into the streets fearing aftershocks, while rescue teams continued to monitor the situation on the ground and assess the quake’s impact.

Monitoring seismic activity in anticipation of new tremors.

Competent authorities are working to assess potential damage and losses while monitoring seismic activity for possible further tremors; meanwhile, authorities have urged citizens to heed civil defense instructions and stay away from buildings that may have sustained damage. The declaration of a state of emergency serves as a precautionary measure, enabling authorities to act swiftly and mobilize the necessary resources to address the earthquake’s impact, particularly in areas most affected by the tremor.
