Gargash: The framework agreement between Lebanon and Israel is an important and positive step

Abu Dhabi, UAE – Dr. Anwar Gargash, Diplomatic Advisor to the President of the UAE, said: “The framework agreement between Lebanon and Israel, under American sponsorship, represents an important and positive step towards the country regaining its full sovereignty over its territory”. The Lebanese have suffered for decades from the repercussions of others’ conflicts over their lands, and have paid a heavy price.

يمثل الاتفاق الإطاري بين لبنان وإسرائيل، برعاية أمريكية، خطوة مهمة وايجابية نحو استعادة الدولة سيادتها الكاملة على أراضيها. لقد عانى اللبنانيون لعقود من تداعيات صراعات الغير على أراضيهم، ودفعوا ثمناً باهظاً.

ترسيخ منطق الدولة وسيادتها يبقى الضمان الحقيقي لاستقرار لبنان ومستقبله.

Gargash added in a post on his account on the “X” platform: “The Lebanese have suffered for decades from the repercussions of the conflicts of others over their lands, and have paid a heavy price. Consolidating the logic of the state and its sovereignty remains the real guarantee for Lebanon’s stability and future.”
