Tehran, Iran – The Iranian Foreign Ministry announced that inspections are continuing at several nuclear facilities within the country, including the Bushehr facility.
It confirmed that technical cooperation with international regulatory bodies remains in place according to established procedures.
Continued inspections at nuclear facilities
The Iranian Foreign Ministry clarified that inspections are ongoing at some nuclear sites,
including monitoring technical activities and verifying the operational procedures within the facilities.
This is being done within the framework of existing cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency.
Consultations regarding the affected sites
The Iranian Foreign Ministry added that granting the International Atomic Energy Agency
access to the sites that were attacked would not be immediate.
Rather, it would be contingent upon future consultations and negotiations
with the relevant parties to determine the mechanisms and parameters of the visit.
Linking cooperation to upcoming negotiations
The Iranian Foreign Ministry confirmed that any new arrangements regarding
the IAEA’s work within Iran will be determined based on the outcome of upcoming negotiations.
It also indicated that this approach aims to regulate technical cooperation while taking into account Iranian national considerations.
