Tehran, Iran – Iranian state television reported that Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf concluded his talks in the Qatari capital, Doha,
and returned to Tehran after a visit that included meetings and consultations on
a number of regional issues and political developments in the region.
The visit comes amidst intensified diplomatic activity in the region recently, both within Iran and Qatar.

Qalibaf visit to Doha included discussions on a number of regional issues,
primarily de-escalation efforts and political and security developments in the Middle East.
Tehran and Doha are keen to maintain coordination and consultation on issues of mutual interest in the region.
