Kuwait – The official spokesperson for the Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense, Colonel Saud Abdulaziz Al-Atwan, announced that the Kuwaiti Armed Forces detected several hostile drones that violated Kuwaiti airspace early Sunday morning. He confirmed that they were dealt with immediately and in accordance with established defense procedures for such situations.

In an official statement, Al-Atwan explained that the Kuwaiti Army’s defense systems were able to track the hostile targets from the moment they entered Kuwaiti airspace. He added that the necessary measures were taken to neutralize the threat. The statement emphasized that the armed forces are on full alert and at full combat readiness. It affirmed that they will not hesitate to take all necessary measures to preserve the security of the nation, the safety of citizens and residents, and to protect the sanctity of its airspace from any external threat.

These developments come amid escalating regional tensions. As a result, Kuwaiti military authorities have intensified monitoring and surveillance operations to ensure security and stability. The statement did not disclose the origin of the drones or their intended targets, but simply affirmed that the armed forces were in complete control of the situation on the ground.
