Amman, Jordan – The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned the drone attack on Kuwait.
The Ministry affirmed the Kingdom’s full solidarity with Kuwait in confronting any threat to its security and stability.
In a statement, the Jordanian Foreign Ministry emphasized that this attack constitutes
a blatant violation of international law and the UN Charter.
It also represents a dangerous escalation that threatens regional security and exacerbates regional tensions.
Jordanian solidarity with Kuwait
The Ministry emphasized Jordan’s solidarity with the sisterly State of Kuwait and its support
for all measures taken to protect its security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.
It also expressed the Kingdom’s complete rejection of all actions
aimed at destabilizing the security of Arab states or threatening their stability.
The Ministry stressed the importance of respecting the sovereignty of states and non-interference in their internal affairs.
Warning of regional escalation
The Jordan Foreign Ministry stressed that the continuation of such attacks undermines international
and regional efforts aimed at de-escalation and promoting stability in the region.
It called for adherence to the rules of international law and the UN Charter.
It also urged efforts to address crises through dialogue and diplomatic means
in order to preserve the region’s security and stability.
Calls for restraint
The Kingdom of Jordan reiterated the importance of intensifying political and diplomatic efforts
to prevent the escalation of tensions in the Middle East, given the rapidly evolving security situation in the region.
It also stressed the need to strengthen joint Arab cooperation and coordination to address security challenges.
Furthermore, it emphasized the importance of preserving the security of Arab states and the stability of their people.
