Gargash: The UAE’s position is firm in rejecting Iranian aggression and in favor of freedom of navigation

Abu Dhabi, UAE – Dr. Anwar Gargash, Diplomatic Advisor to the President of the UAE, confirmed that the Iranian aggression, by targeting a national ADNOC tanker while it was crossing the Strait of Hormuz, confirms that the Iranian threat to the security and stability of the region continues and cannot be ignored.

Gargash said on the “X” platform: “The brutal Iranian aggression and acts of maritime piracy continue by targeting a national tanker belonging to (ADNOC) as it crosses the Strait of Hormuz”. The UAE’s position is firm in rejecting aggression and supporting freedom of navigation in this vital international corridor.

Gargash added: “These attacks confirm that the Iranian threat to the security and stability of the region continues and cannot be ignored”.
