Kuwait – The State of Kuwait resumed full working hours today in all government entities, following a period of administrative adjustments that included flexible or partial work arrangements in some sectors. This comes as part of the gradual return to normal operations.

Government sources stated that the decision to resume full working hours is part of the state’s efforts to enhance institutional performance and increase productivity within the administrative apparatus. Furthermore, the decision aims to ensure the swift completion of transactions and services provided to citizens and residents.

The relevant authorities confirmed that government institutions will continue to implement regulations regarding work discipline, while ensuring adherence to official working hours. This will guarantee that public services are not affected and will enhance the quality of performance.

This decision comes at a time when Kuwait is working to develop the government work environment through expanding digital transformation and streamlining administrative procedures. This aligns with the state’s plans to modernize the public sector and improve its operational efficiency.

Observers believe that the return to full-time work reflects increasing administrative stability. It also indicates a trend towards strengthening employee discipline, which supports the continuity of vital services without delay or disruption.
