Tehran – Iran – Prince Reza Pahlavi addressed Iranian soldiers in a video message on Tuesday. He called on them to fulfill their “national duty” and defend the “kingdom and the nation.” In addition, he stressed that the time has come to stand with the people and protect Iran from what he described as “internal and external occupation.”
Criticism of Military Silence
Prince Reza Pahlavi sharply criticized the Iranian army, considering its inaction against forces affiliated with the Iranian republic and foreign groups a clear violation of its national role. He pointed to the presence of armed foreign elements in Iranian streets, from the Popular Mobilization Forces and Hezbollah in Lebanon to Afghan and Pakistani militants. Moreover, he warned of the consequences of ignoring these realities.
Call for National Commitment
Pahlavi said: “You are the heirs of the renowned national leaders of this land,” referencing historic Iranian figures, and urged soldiers to remember and honor their national oath and commitment to defend the honor and reputation of the Iranian national army against the Islamic Republic and its foreign affiliates.
Appeal to the Iranian People
Prince Reza Pahlavi addressed the people, saying: “Call loudly for the army to fulfill its national duty. Ask them to perform their duty toward the homeland and the nation. Stand with the nation and save Iran before it is too late,” emphasizing that this stance represents a crucial step to save the country from collapse and halt the ongoing destruction threatening internal security and stability.
