Amman, Jordan – The Jordanian Armed Forces announced that they intercepted and destroyed five missiles and drones launched toward the Kingdom’s territory in the past 24 hours.
This comes amid escalating regional tensions.

The Royal Jordanian Air Force successfully intercepted five hostile aerial targets,
including missiles and drones, according to an official statement from the Jordanian military’s media directorate.
The statement added that air defense systems failed to intercept one missile.
Furthermore, it clarified that the interceptions were conducted in accordance
with established rules of engagement for the protection of Jordanian airspace.
Jordan: Reports of falling debris
For his part, the media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate announced
that the relevant authorities responded to approximately 15 reports during the same period.
These reports resulted from shrapnel and projectiles falling in several areas.
He added that these incidents did not result in any injuries and were limited to minor material damage.
Security preparedness and continuous monitoring
The relevant authorities emphasized the continued state of alert and coordination among the various military
and security agencies to address any potential developments.
