Abu Dhabi, UAE – His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE, discussed, during telephone conversations with a number of officials and foreign ministers of sisterly and friendly countries, the repercussions of the brutal Iranian missile and terrorist attacks on the UAE and a number of countries in the region.

His Highness held telephone discussions with Her Excellency Dr. Samia Hassan, President of the United Republic of Tanzania. His Excellency Toboto Alukalala, Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Tonga. Her Excellency Anita Anand, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada. His Excellency Carlos Ramiro Martinez. Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Guatemala. Her Excellency Maka Pochureshvili, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Georgia. His Excellency Sean Sobers, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Caribbean Affairs of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.

During the contacts, they discussed the serious repercussions of current developments on the security and stability of the region.

As well as its impacts on the global economy and energy supply security.

Strong condemnation of the aggression

They expressed their strong condemnation of these brutal and terrorist missile attacks, which represent a clear violation of the principles of international law and the United Nations Charter, and a direct threat to the security, sovereignty and stability of countries in the region.

They stressed the right of the countries that were subjected to these attacks to take the necessary measures to protect their sovereignty and territorial integrity.
