Abu Dhabi, UAE – The UAE Ministry of Defense announced on Wednesday that the country’s air defense systems successfully intercepted an aerial attack involving ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and drones. The Ministry confirmed that all targets were intercepted before reaching their intended targets.
In an official statement, the Ministry explained that air defenses detected and engaged six ballistic missiles, seven cruise missiles, and 39 drones. It added that the interception operation was carried out with high efficiency, in accordance with established defense procedures for protecting the country’s airspace and vital infrastructure.
