Muscat, Sultanate of Oman – The Sultanate of Oman has warned of the serious repercussions of the escalating military tensions in the region, stressing that continued confrontations could lead to grave consequences that threaten the security and stability of the Middle East.

In an official statement, the Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its deep concern regarding the rapidly unfolding developments in the region, emphasizing the need to halt the escalation. The Ministry also stressed the importance of avoiding any actions that could widen the scope of the conflict.

The statement affirmed that the Sultanate of Oman is closely monitoring current developments, calling on all parties to exercise restraint and prioritize dialogue and diplomacy to contain escalating tensions.

It noted that the continuation of military operations and mutual tensions could negatively impact international maritime security and the stability of energy markets. The statement also highlighted the direct repercussions on regional security.

The Sultanate of Oman stressed the importance of intensifying international and regional efforts to contain the crisis and prevent the region from sliding into a wider confrontation. It further emphasized that political and diplomatic solutions remain the only way to avoid further tension and instability.
