Manama, Bahrain – The General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force announced in an urgent statement issued today, Saturday, the success of the Royal Air Defense Forces in repelling a series of ongoing terrorist attacks launched by Iran against the Kingdom.

The statement affirmed that the armed forces, thanks to their high level of readiness and advanced defense technologies,

were able to intercept and destroy a total of 86 ballistic missiles and 148 suicide drones since the start of this brutal aggression.

Military vigilance and combat readiness

In its statement, the General Command expressed its immense pride in the heroic actions of the Bahrain Defense Force personnel in protecting the nation’s airspace.

It commended their high level of vigilance and operational efficiency.

As a result, these efforts prevented these indiscriminate projectiles from reaching their intended targets.

The statement emphasized that “this competence is not a recent development,

but rather the result of continuous training and a steadfast commitment

to safeguarding the Kingdom’s sovereignty and ensuring the safety of its citizens and residents.”

Strict security directives for residents

Under the current circumstances, the General Command has issued an important appeal to all residents to adhere

to the following precautionary measures: remain at home and only leave for essential reasons.

Furthermore, it is imperative to stay completely away from damaged sites or any suspicious objects resulting from missile debris.

Filming military operations or debris impact sites is also prohibited to prevent the leakage of sensitive security information.

Information should be obtained only from official sources. Additionally, residents should be wary of malicious rumors intended to destabilize the situation.

Condemnation of international violations

The statement emphasized that targeting civilian infrastructure and private property

with ballistic missiles constitutes a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and the principles of the UN Charter.

The General Command clarified that these indiscriminate attacks not only target Bahrain

but also pose a direct threat to regional and international peace and security.

Furthermore, it affirmed the Kingdom’s right to take all necessary measures to defend its national security and protect its stability in the face of these heinous attacks.
