Tokyo, Japan – His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, sent a written message to Sanai Takaichi, Prime Minister of Japan.
It relates to cooperation relations and strengthening the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two friendly countries.
The message was delivered to the Japanese Prime Minister by His Excellency Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, Envoy of the Minister of Foreign Affairs to Japan, during the meeting that took place at the Prime Minister’s Office in Tokyo.
This was attended by His Excellency Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zayoudi, Minister of Foreign Trade, and His Excellency Shihab Al Fahim, Ambassador of the State to Japan.
During the meeting, His Excellency Sultan Al Jaber conveyed the greetings of His Highness the Head of State to the Japanese Prime Minister and his wishes for her country and people to continue development and prosperity.
Meanwhile, His Excellency Sanai Takaichi conveyed her greetings to His Highness and her wishes for further progress and development to the UAE.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed opportunities to enhance cooperation and joint action between the UAE and Japan within the framework of their comprehensive strategic partnership signed by the two countries in 2022.
In addition to concluding negotiations to reach the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA).
His Excellency Dr. Sultan Al Jaber stressed the keenness of the UAE leadership to strengthen its comprehensive strategic partnership with Japan and advance it to broader horizons.
In addition to investing in new qualitative opportunities for cooperation, especially in the fields of economy, energy, industry, advanced technology, digital transformation, and artificial intelligence.
In addition to space, sustainability, education and culture, this contributes to supporting mutual interests and achieving sustainable development goals in the two countries.
