Amman, Jordan – During two separate phone calls with the presidents of the Czech Republic and Finland, King Abdullah II emphasized the importance of de-escalating tensions in the region.

The King noted that the current situation requires close international cooperation to minimize risks to civilians and property. Furthermore, he stressed the importance of maintaining a balance of power in the region.
He also affirmed that dialogue and diplomacy are the only way to avoid sliding into wider conflicts.
International community solidarity
King Abdullah II added that Jordan continues its efforts to engage with all relevant parties to de-escalate tensions.
