Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz confirmed that the attack had officially begun. He noted that intelligence assessments had detected Iranian preparations for a large-scale missile and drone attack on Israel.

State of Emergency Declared: Minister Katz signed an order imposing a special state of emergency throughout the country.
Airspace Closure: The Israeli public broadcaster Kan reported that Israeli airspace was completely closed to air traffic.
Home Front Command Alert: Sirens sounded in various areas. Additionally, the early warning system was activated on mobile phones, and residents were urged to take shelter.
Situation in Iran: Explosions rock the capital and provinces
On the other hand, Iranian sources and international news agencies confirmed a series of explosions targeting vital sites and ministries in southern Tehran.
Iranian media reported hearing explosions in several other cities, including Khorramabad.
The Tasnim News Agency, affiliated with the Revolutionary Guard, also reported hearing explosions in the provinces of Lorestan, Kermanshah, and Tabriz.
The Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) also reported an explosion in Tabriz.
