Dubai, UAE – His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Bousnad, Director General of Dubai Customs, discussed with His Excellency Khaled Abdul Rahim Al Zaabi, Consul General of the State of Kuwait in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, mechanisms for developing bilateral cooperation and ways to increase the volume of trade exchange between the two sides.

The two sides stressed the importance of continuing coordination and continuous consultation, and intensifying joint meetings in a way that contributes to building sustainable partnerships based on innovation and knowledge, and keeps pace with the rapid changes in the fields of trade and customs services.
They pointed out that these meetings represent an effective platform for enhancing institutional integration and supporting initiatives that reflect the vision of the leaderships in the UAE and Kuwait towards a more prosperous and cooperative future that serves the peoples of the two brotherly countries.
Within the framework of established fraternal relations, His Excellency Dr. Bousnad welcomed the Kuwaiti Consul General, praising the depth of the historical ties between the UAE and the State of Kuwait.
He appreciated the level of cooperation existing between the institutions of the two countries, and also extended congratulations and blessings to the leadership, government and people of the State of Kuwait on the occasion of National Day.
He also wished the sister country continued progress and prosperity under its wise leadership.
For his part, Khaled Al Zaabi praised the pioneering role of Dubai Customs as an advanced model in customs work.
He stressed the keenness of the Consulate General of the State of Kuwait to support everything that would raise the level of institutional cooperation between the two sides.
