Damascus, Syria – The Syrian News Agency reported on Tuesday evening that three shells of unknown origin targeted the vicinity of the Mezzeh military airport in the capital, Damascus.

The agency quoted a Syrian military source as saying: “The vicinity of Mezzeh military airport in Damascus was targeted by 3 shells of unknown origin. This occurred without any casualties or material damage.”

The source confirmed that authorities have deployed around Mezzeh military airport and launched an investigation to determine the source of the shelling.
