It called for an end to unilateral actions that exacerbate tensions. It also urged increased humanitarian support for Palestinians and ensuring unimpeded access for aid to those in need.
China emphasized that the international community must uphold its responsibilities to protect the rights of peoples. The economic and political factors fueling the conflict must be addressed. It stressed that tackling the root causes of the crisis is the surest path to achieving a lasting and just peace.
