AFP – Three Palestinians were killed Monday morning in the Gaza Strip, two of them as a result of a drone strike in the town of Bani Suheila, east of Khan Younis.
A third person was killed by an Israeli tank shell east of Gaza City, according to civil defense and medical sources.
Sources confirmed that serious injuries had arrived at Nasser Hospital, including volunteers in rescue teams working amidst ongoing shelling.
The emergency hospital in Gaza also received people injured by artillery shelling that targeted the Shuja’iyya and Baraka neighborhoods.
For its part, the Israeli army said it killed “three armed men” who tried to approach its forces east of Khan Younis.
He denied any knowledge of a separate artillery bombardment, while confirming that shots were fired at people who approached his forces in the northern Gaza Strip.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces continue to demolish homes and infrastructure in several neighborhoods east of Gaza and Khan Younis.
This brings the death toll in the Gaza Strip since the start of the war on October 7, 2023, to more than 69,000, according to the Gaza Ministry of Health.
Meanwhile, military operations continue intensively in the southern Gaza Strip.
