Pakistan – The Pakistani military’s public relations department announced on Tuesday that security forces killed at least 15 terrorists in two separate intelligence-led operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, including the leader of a network linked to the “Fitnat-e-Khawarij” organization, which authorities said was acting as an agent for India.

According to Pakistan’s Geo TV, the army’s media wing explained in a statement that the operations were carried out on November 8 and 9 against elements “supported by India,” as it described them.

Details of the operation
The statement indicated that, after receiving information about the presence of members of the organization, the security forces carried out a precise operation in the Kulashi area of Dera Ismail Khan city, which resulted in the killing of 10 terrorists, including the network leader, Alam Mehsud.

In a second operation in the Datta Khel area of North Waziristan, security forces neutralized five additional terrorists.

Separate suicide incident
In another incident, a suicide bomber was killed when he blew himself up near a police station in the Bannu district, with no reports of other casualties, police confirmed on Tuesday.
