England, Britain – Allies of British Prime Minister Keir Starmer have warned that any attempt to oust him within the Labour Party before the anticipated budget presentation on November 26 could send shockwaves through the markets and undermine the government’s financial stability.

ويأتي التحذير وسط حديث نواب الحزب عن أسماء محتملة لخلافة ستارمر، بينهم وزير الصحة ويس ستريتنج، وزيرة الداخلية شبانة محمود، ووزير الطاقة إد ميليباند. بالإضافة إلى وزيرة النقل السابقة لويز هاي، بعد تراجع شعبية ستارمر في استطلاعات الرأي وانتقادات داخلية مستمرة.

A Streeting spokesman denied any intention of overthrowing the Prime Minister’s leadership, asserting that these claims were “completely untrue”.

Starmer faces the dual challenge of calming internal divisions within the party while simultaneously preparing to present a budget expected to include changes to the party’s pledge not to raise taxes. This is causing concern among party members about its potential impact on the party’s political stability.

So far, the government has managed to maintain a semblance of unity. But the upcoming local elections in May could pose a new test of leadership. They could also open the door to a potential challenge for the Labour Party leadership.
