Brazil's hurricane hits hard... number of injured rises to 432

Brasilia, Brazil – The number of people injured by a violent cyclone that hurricane large areas of Brazil has risen to 432,

while local authorities and rescue teams continue their intensive efforts.

This is to rescue those stranded and provide assistance to the affected population.

The Brazilian government said the devastating hurricane caused homes

to collapse and trees to be uprooted.

Also, the destruction of infrastructure in a number of Brazilian states,

This led to power outages for thousands of families and the displacement of hundreds.

Civil defense forces, in cooperation with the army, are working to reopen the damaged roads.

And the establishment of temporary shelters to protect citizens from the hurricane.

This comes at a time when the Brazilian president has declared

that the country is going through a “difficult test”.

Calling for national solidarity to confront the effects of the natural disaster.
