Tel Aviv, Israel – The Israeli Broadcasting Authority announced that Egypt informed Israel on Tuesday of its intention to form a research team that includes representatives from Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey.

This is to find solutions to the crisis of the bodies of the hostages inside the Gaza Strip.

This came after Benjamin Netanyahu’s government approved proposed sanctions against the Palestinian Hamas movement.

Alleging that it is “delaying” the handover of the bodies of the hostages, in violation of the ceasefire agreement.

Hamas announced yesterday, Monday, that it had handed over the bodies of four of the 28 hostages it was holding.

The exchange of bodies of Palestinian hostages and prisoners between Israel and Hamas is part of the first phase of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip.

The Broadcasting Authority indicated that the team, which includes representatives of the mediators, is about to enter the Palestinian sector.

This is to discuss solutions with Hamas regarding the return of the bodies of the hostages.

Stressing that this team is considered an “emergency solution” and is not part of the international mechanism stipulated in the agreement between Israel and Hamas,

It will be formed with the aim of resolving the hostage crisis before it escalates.
