Moscow, Russia – Russian President Vladimir Putin is not conspiring with Chinese President Xi Jinping and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un against the United States. The Kremlin presidency said this on Wednesday.
He pointed out that criticizing US President Donald Trump may have been motivated by sarcasm.
Kremlin foreign policy adviser Yuri Ushakov said Trump may have been making sarcastic remarks.
This was in response to a question from Russian state television regarding Trump’s statements.
Ushakov said: “I would like to emphasize that there is no conspiracy. No one conspired against any party, and there are no conspiracies at all”. This idea did not occur to any of the three leaders.
He added, “I can say that everyone is aware of the role that the United States and the current administration of President Trump play. This includes President Trump himself in the context of the current international situation”.
US President Donald Trump accused his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping of “conspiring” against his country. He implicated Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.
They are in Beijing to attend a huge military parade commemorating the end of World War II.
“I wish President Xi and the great people of China a wonderful day of celebration,” Trump wrote in a post on his Truth Social media platform.
This was before he added in a sarcastic tone, “Please convey my best regards to Putin and Kim Jong Un while you are conspiring against the United States”.
It is noteworthy that the Chinese President warned that the world has a choice between peace or war.
This took place during a huge military parade in Beijing today. The parade, attended by Putin and Kim, was an unprecedented show of force.
