Sanaa, Yemen – The Yemeni Houthi group announced on Wednesday that its forces had carried out air attacks on Israel. They used two hypersonic ballistic missiles.

Media reported that the Houthis announced the implementation of a qualitative and dual military operation with two ballistic missiles.

One is the “Palestine-2” type, the multi-headed fragmentation type, and the other is the “Zulfiqar” type.

The Houthis explained, according to a statement issued by them, that the qualitative military operation targeted sensitive Israeli targets. Specifically, it was in the Jaffa area.

The Houthis said they would continue to confront Israel.

For his part, the acting Prime Minister of the Houthi government, Mohammed Muftah, said during an event at Sana’a University: “The killing of our ministers gave us more motivation and strength. We are ready to confront the Zionist system.”

The Israeli army announced earlier on Wednesday that it had intercepted a missile launched from Yemen.

The Israeli army statement said, “Following the sirens that sounded a short while ago in several areas inside Israel, a missile launched from Yemen was intercepted”.
