Beirut, Lebanon – The Arab Publishers Association has announced the opening of registration for the upcoming Beirut Arab International Book Fair.
The Association invites publishing houses and cultural institutions wishing to participate to complete the registration process according to the established regulations and conditions,
as part of preparations for one of the most prestigious cultural fairs in the Arab world.
The Association clarified that applications will be accepted during the period specified in the official announcement.
Publishers are required to submit all necessary documents and pay the applicable fees within the specified deadlines to ensure the acceptance of their applications and the allocation of booths at the fair.
An important platform for promoting the Arab publishing industry
He noted that participation is limited to publishing houses and cultural institutions that possess legally valid publications and respect intellectual property rights,
with a commitment not to display or sell any books or publications that violate the laws and regulations governing the exhibition, in addition to adhering to the space allocated to each exhibitor.
The Arab Publishers Association affirmed that the exhibition represents an important platform for promoting the Arab publishing industry and providing an opportunity for publishing houses to showcase their latest publications,
in addition to organizing diverse cultural and intellectual events, including seminars, literary evenings, and book signings, with the participation of a select group of writers and intellectuals from various Arab countries.
Strengthening cooperation among Arab publishers
The Beirut Arab International Book Fair is one of the oldest and most prominent book fairs in the region, enjoying wide participation from Arab and international publishing houses.
It attracts thousands of visitors annually, including readers, researchers, and those interested in cultural affairs, thus reinforcing the Lebanese capital’s position as one of the leading Arab cultural centers.
The Union called on all those wishing to participate to adhere to the announced dates and procedures, emphasizing that the upcoming edition aims to present a diverse cultural program,
strengthen cooperation among Arab publishers, and support the publishing and book industry in light of the challenges facing the sector.
This will contribute to revitalizing the Arab cultural scene and enhancing communication between publishers, authors, and the public.
