Warner Bros. Animation has released the first official trailer for its new animated film “The Cat in the Hat,” which reintroduces one of American author Dr. Seuss’s most famous characters to new generations in a unique cinematic adventure. The film is set to premiere in theaters worldwide on November 6th, and in Egypt and several other Arab countries on November 5th.
A new story full of imagination and adventure
The film revolves around brothers Gabe and Sebastian, who face the challenges of adapting to their new life after moving to another city, before things take a dramatic turn with the appearance of “The Cat,” who has a special mission to bring imagination and fun back into their lives.
A new addition to the world of the famous character
The opening scenes of the film reveal a fictional organization called “Institute for the Institution of Imagination and Inspiration,” which is where the cat works, giving the story a new and different dimension from previous versions and adding more excitement to the events.
Egyptian version
The production company also announced a dubbed version in the Egyptian dialect, starring Maged El Kedwany, who voices the character “El Qatt,” alongside Hatem Salah, in a move aimed at strengthening the Arab audience’s connection to the film and providing a viewing experience suitable for different age groups.
The film is being released in Arabic under the title “The Cat Behind the Hat” or “Qatqout Abu Za’bout,” amid expectations that it will receive a large audience thanks to the widespread popularity of the classic character around the world.
